Alberta Nonprofit Data Strategy

The Alberta Nonprofit Data Strategy is a sector-wide collaborative initiative to build a knowledge-driven nonprofit sector. Access to timely, relevant information can support evidence-based decision making.

The Edmonton Community Foundation, PolicyWise, and the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Status of Women are jointly funding the Alberta Nonprofit Data Strategy.

Learn More About the Data Strategy

With the support of the Alberta Nonprofit Network and the Ministry of Culture, in 2019-2020 PolicyWise brought together over 25 data champions to advance the non-profit sector’s strategic use of data. We have continued to expand on this work by focusing on building capacity, collecting data, and conducting analysis about and for the non-profit sector.
